"Aldi coming to Bayside Shopping Centre"

Bayside Shopping Centre announced today that the Frankston City Council had approved a Development Application that will see the addition of a new Aldi store to the existing Fresh Food precinct.

The redevelopment represents an investment of $4 million to include over 1,000 square metres of additional floor space to accommodate the new Aldi store scheduled to open before Christmas 2010.

Bayside Shopping Centre, Centre Manager, Richard Devlin said, "Aldi will join Safeway and other operators in the fresh food mall at Bayside.  Aldi is sure to be popular with customers from Frankston and surrounding suburbs."

This latest addition to Bayside Shopping Centre continues to ensure Bayside Shopping Centre meets the needs of the existing and future residents of Frankston and surrounding areas.

Bayside is managed by Colonial First State Global Asset Management, a full service property, leasing and development management business responsible for managing more than $11 billion in assets, relationships with over 4,000 tenants and 250 million customers.
